Wheat fungicides: T1, T2, T3 timing in 2026
A BBCH-based calendar by region. Which actives to mix, why not to dump everything at once, and the real payback of the third spray.

T1 (BBCH 32–33) Septoria and root-rot control. Epoxiconazole + proquinazid. Spend 80–100 €/ha.
T2 (BBCH 39–49, flag leaf) The critical moment. Protecting the flag leaf is worth +20–25% yield. Use a triazole + SDHI (e.g. Folicur + Protiox). Spend 100–130 €/ha.
T3 (BBCH 61–65, flowering) Only in wet weather or after last year's fusarium head blight. Metconazole + tebuconazole.
T3 economics Pays back 1 year out of 3 on average. In a wet season, pays back twice over.
