Corn: FAO 200-300 hybrids for the Ukrainian belt
Top performers from 2024–2025 trials: 12 hybrids from Pioneer, KWS, Limagrain, Maïsadour ranked for Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones.

FAO 200-300 is the sweet spot for most of Ukraine: earlier maturity, better drought tolerance, lower drying costs.
Top-3 in Forest-Steppe Pioneer P9241 — solid 11.2 t/ha. KWS Krabas — 10.8 t/ha, strong stalk. LG 30.288 — 11.5 t/ha with intensive fertilisation.
Top-3 in Steppe Maïsadour MAS 24.C — 9.4 t/ha under moderate drought. Pioneer P8567 — drought-resilient. KWS Kalimnos — later but 10+ t/ha with irrigation.
Economics Top vs average hybrid gap is 1.5–2 t/ha. On 100 ha that's +12–16 tonnes × 9800 UAH/t = +120–160k UAH per season.
